Yes, soccer fans...it's hot out there. To follow-up Lynda's e-mail earlier in the week, soccer is still a go for tonight. However, the call as to whether to send your children is up to you. If you do choose to participate, please, please have lots of fluids and freezies for the kids and have them take it easy.

It's beautiful in Talbotville right now...not a cloud in the sky despite the fact that The Weather Network is calling for severe thunderstorms. So, soccer is a go and hopefully the rain will arrive later in the evening.

Hey Soccer Fans Out There!!! For those of you who have not received the message from Lynda, we have decided to go ahead with soccer tonight. Yes, it is very warm but there is a nice breeze at the park and lots of shade. Bring LOTS of water for your children though as risk of dehydration is high in this weather. If you are not comfortable with your children playing soccer tonight, please do not feel that you have to attend. The ultimate decision is yours.

Well soccer fans...soccer is a go! It's only raining lightly in Talbotville right now so hopefully the storm that is headed our way will hold off until after the game!

Currently watching the weather. Radar shows a huge blob coming our way and The Weather Network is calling for thunderstorms for the evening. The policy is "game on" if it's only showers and "game off" if lightning is present. Will report back in an hour to do "the call".

Soccer Cancelled Wed May 18

Unfortunately soccer will be cancelled tonight as the fields are too wet and additional rain is forecasted for this evening.

Hope to see you next week...the sunshine will eventually come!

Meet The Coach

Meet the coach is this Wednesday May 5th at 6:30, rain or shine come to the pavilion to meet your coach, get your jersey and any paper work.

Let's hope for a nice season weather wise for playing soccer.
